BASIC AND ADVANCED TRACK
Residents register to complete either the basic or advanced track. Please note that enrollment in the advanced track is strongly encouraged.

RESIDENCY PROJECT NC Schedule 2024-2025
Please note that these dates are tentative and are subject to change.
COHORT GATHERINGS
basic and advanced track
Gatherings are scheduled for the third week of the month. Please note the time that your local cohort will gather.
Cabarrus/Rowan: third Wednesday of the month 6:30am - 8:30am
Charlotte: third Tuesday of the month 11:00am - 1:00 pm
Foothills North: third Thursday of the month 8:00am - 10:00am
Foothills South: third Thursday of the month 11:30am - 1:30pm
Lincoln/Gaston: third Tuesday of the month 11:00am - 1:00pm
Union/Anson: third Tuesday of the month 11:00am - 1:00pm
Cohort gatherings are held in:

PASTORAL COACHING

Coaching meetings are to be scheduled as is convenient for the coach and resident (one meeting per month).

To be held in the context of the local church (as is applicable).
SEBTS PREACHING LAB
advanced track ONLY
October 19, 2024 - preaching lab #1 in Charlotte, NC (location TBC)
March 15, 2025 - preaching lab #2 in Charlotte, NC (location TBC)
IMB MISSION MOBILIZATION TRIP
advanced track ONLY
April 8 - 10, 2025 - trip to Richmond, Virginia (option one)
May 6 - 8, 2025 - trip to Richmond, Virginia (option two)

NC BAPTIST GATHERING
advanced track ONLY
January 2025 - day trip, date TBC
ASSOCIATIONAL MEET AND GREET
advanced track ONLY
October 2024 and March 2025 - lunchtime meeting, dates TBC
requirements for certificate completion

2. Pastoral Coaching - completion of a minimum of 8 coaching sessions
3. Leader Church Leadership Development (as applicable) - ongoing at your local church throughout the 10 months

1. Cohort Gatherings - attendance at a minimum of 8 of the 9 gatherings
2. Pastoral Coaching - completion of a minimum of 8 coaching sessions
3. Leader Church Leadership Development (as applicable) - ongoing at your local church throughout the 10 months
4. SEBTS Preaching Labs - attendance at a minimum of 1 of the 2 preaching labs
5. IMB Mission Mobilization Trip - attendance required
6. NC Baptist Gathering - attendance required
7. Associational Meet and Greet - attendance required

Frequently asked questions
Can I join the Residency Project at any time throughout the year?
We strongly recommend starting the Residency Project in August to maximize the benefits of the program. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. In such cases, we may admit residents throughout the year. To explore this possibility, please fill out the "I've Got Questions" form, and we will reach out to discuss your situation. We're here to help you get the most out of your residency experience!
What if I can't make some of the dates listed above?
We strongly recommend making every effort to attend all scheduled gatherings to get the most out of the program. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Please keep in touch with your Directional Leader, who will help track your progress and work with you to determine possible accommodations for any missed parts of the program.

We recommend choosing the location connected to the association and county of your local church. Please note the counties served by each of our Residency Project locations:
